Good ole October. I love this month but it is always such a crazy month. I am always busy. This year is not much different, except for what is keeping me so busy. Not only am I working part time at the farm, as always, but I've now got this job at Epic and so some days I work both. I'm not complaining about it, in fact some days I really enjoy it, but it is getting tiring. I'm also hanging out with some friends (or are they still acquiends?) and we're doing stuff nearly every night. Good times. We've watched a lot of movies lately, mostly because we don't know what else to do. The other night we saw City of Ember and I had no idea what it was about, but I actually liked it. If you feel like it go and see it.
Today I not only got my ticket to fly to Chicago for my friend Christine's wedding, but I also found out that Julianne will be coming out to California for a visit soon. I'm pretty stoked about both. They'll both be very different visits, but equally fun I'm sure. It's going to be good having a midwest friend out here for a visit again. More of them should do that.
So I'm pretty tired, and I'm not really sure what else to write, but I felt like putting something out there.

coke zero.

Today I had some free time out in Moorpark before I could come home to Ventura, so in that time I walked around target for an hour, tried on some shoes in Payless, and then ate lunch at Baja Fresh. This particular Baja Fresh has a larger assortment of fountain sodas than most places, and when I saw that they had Coke Zero, I couldn't resist. I quite like drinking it and haven't had it in a while. As I sat there drinking it I had flashbacks to Peru sitting in Pasquales eating a lomo saldado sandwich. It was a nice time with the exception of the fact that I was eating alone, but that's beside the point.

So, I can't believe that I didn't blog at all in September. It is the first month that I haven't made a single post since I started blogging (April 2006 in case you didn't know). It's a little weird (for me to me), but it was bound to happen sooner or later. In fact I had been meaning to blog in the last week sometime, but never got around to it. In case you haven't heard (and assuming that anyone is actually reading this) last month I got a job working at this place in Ventura called Epic. Epic is a new venue/ gaming center/ energy lounge that is in the process of opening. In fact next week our gaming center (the Armory) is opening up and I will start having regular(ish) shifts. For the last four weeks I've mostly been doing cleaning, and random things, which I don't mind. BUT it will be nice to work a regular shift. So, if you're in Ventura and you want to hold a party in a really cool place check out our website (www.epicventura.com), and talk to me. I'll show you around if you like.
I feel like there were other things that I was going to mention when I eventually got around blogging but I don't remember what they were. Oh well. October is here and I'm working back at the farm, which is nice. It's so familiar out there, and I would be sad to not be out there out all. Oh! Side note: Underwoods was featured on the KTLA morning news this morning, and they did four live segments from the farm. I was able to be there and be in three of them, which was fun.
That's all really. Perhaps I'll update more later. If anything changes that is.
