stoked!!!

So, I realize that it has been forever since I've written anything in here, but I have something that I am so excited about that I had to put out here. After years and years of going to camps (24 since 4th grade), I am now going to be working at one!! I applied to work at Pondo, a camp that I've been to lots of times, and was hired this morning. I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to see what will come out of it. I'll be starting up there the end of May and I'll be working through early August. Every day I'll get to work with middle school or high school age youth, lead/work super fun activities, and share about God. Could there be anything better? Possibly, but for me right now, no.

Anyway, that's all I've really got in the way of new news. It's spring, and I'm coaching track again. It's great as always to be involved in track, and spending time working and teaching the throwers is exciting. We have a really good group of throwers this year, who I think are going to do really great things. The group is also HUGE. We have over 30 throwers. It's hard having that many but it's also really great seeing an event group grow rapidly. Next year we may actually have to cut some people, which will be sad.

I'm keeping really busy though, which is good. Between Epic, track, Catalyst and EPC middle school youth groups I have my hands full. Plus I have lots of fun meetings and appointments that go along with all of that. It's a good day when I get to come home for a few minutes, or an hour or something. With all the busyness I'm getting to do lots of fun things. Like, the other day I got to go down to LA with Sasha and pick up a refrigerator for Synapse. It was so much fun. We hung out in traffic and talked and caught up a bit. That same night I also got to hang out with Nat, eat dinner (which she kindly prepared), and have frozen yogurt at Wild Cherry. So much fun! Also, my friend Mark and I are getting these super cool film cameras. I'm getting the Mr. Pink Diana F + and he is getting the Scarecrow Diana F +. I can't wait until they come, which will be a bit longer until than we expected, but they'll be so cool. And yes, the Mr. Pink is actually a pink camera. Who'd have thought I would get one but I did. It's awesome. Along the lines of film cameras, I've been taking lots of pictures with my LCA+ (the free one I won from the Kaiser Chiefs), and having a blast with it. I'm still figuring it all out, but having loads of fun doing it. Some of the pictures aren't all that bad either.

Alright, that's it. I wrote considerably more than I thought I would, but that always happens. More to come sometime.
